Nathan Homme a 39 year old MMA fighter, Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and head instructor of The Academy Eau Claire, was arrested in Wisconsin for attempting to kidnap and murder his ex-wife.
At the time of his arrest he had handcuffs, latex gloves, duct tape, a shotgun receipt, syringes, maps and a handwritten plan for kidnapping and murdering his ex-wife.
On March 13th he allegedly broke into his ex-wife’s home while wearing a ski mask.
This break-in caused police to search his property. During the search police found five grand in $100 bills and a black case and his Kia Optima with vials of medication.
They also found what the report referred to as a kidnapping kit which included two shotguns, a stun gun, gloves, handcuffs and duct tape.
The officers also found two GPS devices which are used for tracking with the equipment to attach them to vehicles and apparently one of those devices that already been attached to his ex-wife’s car at some point. Here’s an excerpt from his handwritten plan on the kidnapping and murder of his wife:
1. First stop box, hockey bag, duct tape, handcuffs, blowtorch, nails, garbage bags, my fresh clothes.
2. House code, shoes off, bedroom blitz, DT gag, handcuff legs, hood plus pillow.
3. Boxer in trunk, drive element two Wilson P, put box in trunk
Now there was another page that contained what appeared to be a script authorities say and here’s a part of that script:
The lengths I go to to have a conversation with you, it read. I have questions for you. I have some things I want to say and then we’re done. I don’t want to hear any Bullshit. I want you to speak from the heart. Alcohol helps the truth come out. Security footage has to go. How many recording devices do you have. Where are they stored, passwords.
Through a research warrant cops were able to confirm, by looking through a cell phone, that he was around his ex’s house around the same time of the break in which is also how they got the search warrant for his home.
